Portland- based metalsmith, Jocelyn Morin began her career three years ago in Burlington, Vermont where she enrolled in her first fine metals course at the University of Vermont. She quickly fell in love with the wax carving process and spent almost all of her free moments with wax block and blade in hand. A few classes later she began working as an apprentice to her teacher, Matthew Taylor.

Drawing inspiration from nature's bold beauty and complexity, Jocelyn captures the fleeting power of the wild word in her unique designs. Each piece is hand carved in wax, and casted with the finest materials.
